The Seniors section (for golfers aged over 55) was formed in 1968 and run many senior events each year, both within the club and opens. We also hold inter club matches, both home and away within the area.  

Seniors competitions are usually held on Tuesdays, as well as regular roll-ups which are organised on most days of the week, these are friendly games, open to all.  New senior members are encouraged to come along to these and make new friends.  

There are 28 inter-club matches each year, most on a home and away basis giving senior members a chance to play a friendly but competitive team event and experience other courses at the same time.

New senior members - whether experienced golfers or new to the game - are assured of a warm welcome at Lansdown.  The seniors section is a warm friendly group of Lansdown GC golfers who always welcome new members.
